I'm still in the remnants of moving house so finding actual time to play games is still a bit of a premium.

That said I did manage to spend a chunk of Saturday playing Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, which I'm quite enjoying. It's Shin Megami light, I may have said all this before last time I did a WWP, but yeah, it's even lighter than Persona for the most part

I think I complained last time that I had finished a mission and was dreading the downtime in between. It's not been that bad but it is the worst thing about the game I'd say. I'm at a similar point now, and I could just push on, but there's side quests to do, spiritual growth to acquire. Some of the dungeons seem to be better than others, the camera one I did last wouldn't rank amongst my favourites, hopefully the next one is better. Still though; Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE is a good game, I'm intending to finish it

In other # related gaming, I also spent some time with Chime Sharp (or Chime# I've really no idea which is correct anymore). I really liked Chime back on the 360, and kickstarted this sequel. I've posted a video so I won't dwell on it too much, but apart from a few issues with the UI (it's not that easy to see whilst you're in the midst of the game), and pining for some of my favourite bands on the soundtrack, I've been enjoying the snatched moments I've had with it

I've moved house a few times in my life, and somewhere along the way I've picked up the idea that it leaves me with a lot of time to play games. I think it's because I know I'll have no money and no internet to spend money on, or fritter away time with, so that hard drive full of games, all those discs now in a box, they're all going to get played

Well, let me tell you, it couldn't be further from the truth

A month of cleaning, boxing, loading and unloading, and now I'm finally moved in to a new house. Now the concept comes true though, no internet has meant long forgotten box sets have been started and I'm looking forward to a weekend of Ikea, stress, than games.

What it does mean though is that I've spent a lot of time with the Vita version of Odin Sphere Leifthrasir, and very much enjoyed it. Duane posted a review of the PS4 version, and while I'd have to play as the other characters (I've finished the game with one character), his score isn't a million miles away from what I'd have given it. Right up until the end I had a few issues with the controls, and I think the story undersells itself a lot, but it's fun, looks fantastic, and the Vita version runs well

I've also found a bit of time to start Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE. I don't want to sound snotty about it but it does feel a little like Persona light, which is in turn Shin Megami Tensei light. Not that that's a bad thing, but the threat of impending bullshit, with how twee it is, has given me some reservations. We'll see how it goes I guess, but I do like the session mechanic (an assist from teammates if they have a session skill that matches the weak point you've just hit).

I'll say this though, given the subject matter is about darkness stealing your talent and you bringing forward some sort of spirit, if Sega had bought Atlus sooner they could have stuck NiGHTS in the game with one of the kids

In a Nintendo Direct today, the company announced, amongst other things, the English name for Shin Megami Tensei/Fire Emblem crossover #FE, and it's... wait a second...
