S'alright, I've not played it either and it's sat on my shelf.

Mostly Quake 2 this week. It's wearing a bit thin but it's still a good game. It's really fast, but some of it's creakier elements, such as enemies exploding from behind walls when your back is turned, get a bit annoying.

Also playing Puzzle Agent which I'll review once it's finished. Few control issues, some flawed or just not fun puzzles, but there's a lot to like about it. It's very odd too which I like

To be fair to them in the full interview he gives an example of the likes of Game only carrying very casual stuff, and he's got a point. It's hard to find a lot of stuff, boxed, for the PC, but at the same time the big titles do very well. You can bet the supermarkets will have Football Manager and Starcraft

And yeah, there's always Steam et al. But if they're making enough from the smaller versions then why risk the expense of all the scouting etc that goes into the full game

Paper MoonAnother "Paper" based game, although this has a "Paper Mario" style to it rather than using virtual paper as a puzzle.

Paper Moon is a simple browser based platformer that simply asks you to move the character from one side of the level to the other (as is the norm for 2D platformers) but you're also required to make the land pop in and out so you can navigate it properly.

It's all rather nice and enjoyable, although the music is rather repetetive and can easily annoy. You can play it by going to here, there's no need to register, you can play all of the games on the site as a Guest.

The way people play Mass Effect 2IGN has a sit down with Casey Hudson, Executive Producer on Mass Effect, who waxes lyrical on some of the stats they've gathered on the way people have played the game.

A surprising 50% of people who started the game finished it, and a similar amount brought their save over from the previous game.

Two of those people felt the need to complete it twenty eight times.

There's a few more stats on the IGN article, and you can see what Duane thought of the title from when he reviewed it back in Februrary.

Halo film potentially still on, but TV series more likelyTalking to Variety, Frank O'Connor, who oversees the franchise for Microsoft, let slip that they're "still interested in making an excellent 'Halo' movie", but the entertainment media website also points out that Microsoft is also "intently watching" the TV landscape as a potential outlet for a "Halo" series.
But before you get all excited about any future filler content on SyFy, Microsoft are happy to stick with advert director Noam Murro and his live-action shorts, including "Birth of a Spartan" and "Deliver Hope".

Every so often a new edition is released, unfortunately the feeling is that the series peaked with Worms Armageddon ten years ago. Even so, its always nice to have a new release to play with, with the hope that it can attract more people to play against, and by releasing Worms Reloaded through Steam (with a couple of bonuses thrown in for those that pre-ordered), that appears to be the goal of Team 17.
